More than 80% of students earned Très Bien or Bien honours

At the end of middle school, 3ᵉ (9th grade) students take the DNB (Diplôme National du Brevet), or the DNBI (Diplôme National du Brevet – International Option) for those enrolled in German international courses. Points are awarded based on two equally weighted criteria:

  • The Socle Commun (Common Foundation): assessed continuously in the classroom throughout Cycle 4, from 5ᵉ (7th) to 3ᵉ (9th grade).
  • Exam results: grades obtained in written and oral exams in French, Mathematics, History and Geography, and Sciences.

The national exam takes place in June at LFIVH. In recent years, our students have made the school proud, with 100% passing the exam and over 80% achieving Très Bien or Bien honours.

* mention très bien: first-class honours (GB) or grade A pass (US)

** mention bien: upper second-class honours (GB) or grade B pass (US)
